I am very pleased with the metal roof installed by the GMR crew.  They worked long hours on the hotest days of this summer and the quality of their work was exceptional.  The project manager was on-site multiple times during each day and made sure our questions were answered promptly.  We explored various roof options with GMR before signing a contract that provided us the best solution for our situation. Today GMR Roof removed an old asphalt single roof on our large shed and replaced it with a new metal roof. They provided a timely estimate and had to special order the type and color we wanted. They came and took precise measurements before ordering. Mike H. came today and single-handedly removed the old and installed the new. He was very meticulous in replacing a small rotted wood section and then the alignment of the panels, fascia and ridge vent. It looks fantastic and should last several decades. GMR recently did a complete metal roof job on my house and garage. I was So impressed with the quality of service, the surprisingly fair price, and People(!) that I just had them come over again to do some long overdue fascia repair work. The work done was, again, Perfect. I went to the CNY Home show in Syracuse looking for a roofer to replace the metal roof on a cottage in Henderson NY we purchased about 12 years ago. I was surprised when I found that GMR Metal roofing was located in Adams NY. I knew that the existing roof did not have sheeting or a membrane below the meatal and we were having water infiltration issues in various locations. A GMR salesperson made an appointment and we discussed the Issue. He had reviewed our location and knew the square footage and steep slope of the roof. He gave us a quote the same day along with an approximate start date. The cost was pretty much what I expected, and we signed up to have them do the work. They started the roof within the time frame quoted. When they showed up, they gave me an estimate that it would take 4 days to complete the project. The roof is very steep, and the terrain is very sloped adding to the complexity of the project.  The crew of six were hard workers who showed up around 8 AM and worked until About 8 PM every day to complete the project in 4 days. The workers were very professional, well organized and did a great job. We are very pleased with the whole process from beginning to end and would definitely recommend GMR Metal roofing for your roofing project.
